Poem that teaches: OMNIS CELLULAE E CELLULA

Life can be observed from big things to small
Elephants and blue whales, both wild and free
There are tall and bulky aspen and redwood trees
Protists, and bacteria and of course, the nanobies!

The cell is considered the smallest of them all
In terms of structure, functions and life support
Cells consists of membranous and particulate parts
Cell membrane, nucleus and the jelly cytoplasm.

There are different organelles the cell calls its own
Mitochondrion, vesicles and dependable ribosomes
Flattened Golgi apparatus, and squggly endoplasmic reticulum
All of these and the others, make the cell full bloom!

Each cell comes from a pre-existing one
One can never come from a nonliving scum.
Cells divide to create cells of similar genes
Cells can also divide to create the cells of life!
